All data you enter into Simple — including your spending categories, pockets, budgets, expenses, income entries, recurring expenses, and preferences (such as currency and month start day) — is stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

3. Data Storage

All of your financial data is stored exclusively on your device using local file storage and UserDefaults. This includes:

• Spending categories and budget limits
• Pockets and their configurations
• Expense and income transaction records
• Recurring expense schedules
• App preferences (currency, month start day)

We do not use cloud storage, remote databases, or external servers to store your personal or financial data.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

Simple does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, address, phone number)
• Location data
